AT A GLANCE

Just to give a simple visual perspective, though not exhaustive, it is seen that:

An image showing the different types of temperaments.
The Extrovert

This individual thrives in people-oriented spaces, where they can be the centre of attraction, create and enjoy a show. Their best experiences are those they have when in the midst of people. A boundless energy field – as they can draw energy, recreate and give it back… creating an exciting fun force field. Talking is a natural gift and you find them to be good and enthralling storytellers.

The Introvert

They are the more reserved, thinkers. Mind on the task more than people. In fact, too much people’s activity drains them of focused energy to produce results. They are seen as loners or prefer intimate interactions with the crowd. Their mind is their greatest asset and it serves them well when they have the quiet space to process their deep wealth of ideas.

The Ambivert

Best of both worlds! Though many are predominantly either of the fundamental two, the ambivert has learnt to adjust adequately and efficiently to manifest or express which characteristic is necessary within the context of what he/she finds themselves or what they want to achieve. So they can function within a crowd where necessary and also function efficiently in solitude to achieve the results they require. Balance and mastery afford them efficiency and effectiveness in their endeavours.

You can cultivate being an Ambivert

Don’t limit yourself to either side of the spectrum, when you can enjoy the best of both worlds. But it’s not without the necessary efforts to break out of your comfort zone and embrace the unfamiliar from time to time till you master the skill.

Are you willing to take on the challenge?
